A Letter From the Founder

My name is Jason Avila, and I am the founder of Regimental Golf Co.

First and foremost, thank you for being here.

Regimental Golf Co. was born from two things that have meant a great deal to me throughout my life: my time in the Army and my love of the game of golf.

I am a proud veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, where I served with the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. Like so many who have worn the uniform, I carry with me an enduring sense of pride in the Army, the 82nd Airborne Division, and the brotherhood forged through service. It is difficult to fully explain what that experience means to those of us who lived it, but it leaves a mark on you — one built on sacrifice, shared hardship, loyalty, and a connection that never truly leaves.

Serving in the Army remains one of the great honors of my life. I was only a small part of something much bigger than myself, but it shaped who I am in ways I carry every day.

I have also always loved golf.

For years, I searched for apparel that represented both of those worlds — something that honored military heritage while still feeling refined, understated, and worthy of wearing both on and off the course. I wanted something that carried the pride of service with the same level of craftsmanship and quiet confidence found in brands like Peter Millar and Holderness & Bourne.

But I never quite found what I was looking for.

There were plenty of military-inspired polos and crest apparel available, but very little that felt truly premium — something that reflected the dignity, pride, and history of military service in a way that felt elevated rather than novelty-driven.

I wanted to build the kind of polo I had spent years hoping someone else would make.

Something that honored the pride, history, and brotherhood of military service with the same level of craftsmanship and quality found in premium golf apparel — something worthy of being worn both on and off the course.

I believed military heritage deserved something more refined, more thoughtful, and more authentic.

That belief became Regimental Golf Co.

This company was never intended to be loud or overly commercial. It was built from a place of respect — for the units, the traditions, the history, and the men and women who served within them.

Every polo we create is designed intentionally. From the patterns and colors to the smallest details, our goal is to honor military identity in a way that feels authentic, refined, and timeless.

Becoming officially licensed through the United States Army Trademark Licensing Program was incredibly important to me. If we were going to do this, I wanted to do it the right way — with legitimacy, respect, and the privilege of representing these storied units properly.

Our inaugural Airborne Heritage Series begins with two of the Army’s most iconic divisions: the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division. These polos mean a great deal to me personally, and it is my sincere hope that they resonate with fellow veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and anyone who carries pride in service and sacrifice.

And this is only the beginning.

In the years ahead, we hope to continue honoring more units, more stories, and more pieces of the military experience through thoughtful, premium apparel designed to be worn with pride — both on and off the course.

Whether you served yourself, supported someone who did, or simply appreciate the traditions represented here, thank you for taking the time to be part of this journey.

It is my sincere hope that these pieces allow you to carry a small part of your story, your pride, and your heritage — a quiet reminder of where you’ve been and what it means to belong to something greater than yourself.

Respectfully,
